A straw crusher is an agricultural machinery device used to break down agricultural residues such as cotton stalks, corn stalks, and reed stalks. The processed straw can be used for fermentation, feeding, making organic fertilizer, directly returning to the field, or producing granular fuel.
This equipment crushes materials through the impact force generated by high-speed rotating hammer blades or cutter rolls. Its core process includes three steps: feeding and cutting, hammering and crushing, and screening and discharging. After crushing, the materials fall through a screen, which can be replaced to adjust the particle size. The overall structure of the machine usually includes a feeding device, a crushing chamber, a power system, and a screening device. Some models use variable frequency motor drives, which reduce energy consumption compared to traditional equipment. The hammer blades and screen can be made of high manganese steel and other materials to extend their service life, and wear parts can be replaced. The equipment can be equipped with a dust removal device to meet environmental protection requirements and has the ability to process wet straw with a certain moisture content. This equipment offers multiple models to meet different processing needs. Parameters such as the size of the feed inlet and the diameter of the cutter disc vary depending on the model. Some models are equipped with an automatic control system to adjust the crushing effect.
